Il quartiere ha un'anima fortemente popolare. Nel complesso ha uno stile abbastanza omogeneo e ordinato. L'architettura copre un periodo che va da quello umbertino fino al razionalista. Ci sono molti negozi anche di grandi catene, tra cui la Feltrinelli e H&M, così durante il giorno molti stanno in giro per lo shopping. L'offerta di ristoranti è notevole per non parlare di Via Eurialo dove si trovano le migliori pizzerie napoletane. C'è anche una delle migliori gelaterie di Roma, il Gelatario. La sera è più tranquillo ma anche in questo caso non mancano le offerte: ci sono due cinema multisala, un teatro, molti pub e birrerie di quartiere. Infine, gli spazi verdi: due ville piccole ma ben curate e il grande Parco Nazionale della Caffarella.

From Fiumicino Airport get a train to Roma Tuscolana and viceversa (40 minutes, 8 euro).
From Ciampino Airport get the 520 bus to Cinecittà Metro station, then get the Metro to Furio Camillo and viceversa (30 minutes, 1.5 euro).
Getting to and from the neighbourhood is very easy thanks to the Furio Camillo Metro Station. For example from Termini to Furio Camillo takes only 10 minutes.
I recommend taking a train to the Roma Tuscolana station if you are in the Tiburtina, Trastevere or Ostiense stations.
It takes 8 minutes to walk from Roma Tuscolana Station to my flat. In the station there are two subways. Enter the northern subway (on the left), go down the stairs, turn right, walk to the end of the underpass and go up the stairs on the right. Finally, walk downhill and you will find yourself on Via Tuscolana. From here walk for 8 minutes towards home.
