I had a lovely time celebrating Christmas with my family at Pen-y-Dyffryn. Tommy welcomed us warmly and told us everything we needed to know about the hotel, was always reachable and prompt with responding to questions. The rooms were well decorated, clean and all had charm and character. We were able to accommodate everyone comfortably. I stayed in the Valley Suite away from the main building and it was beautiful. A fantastic bath tub!!!! Really comfy bed, spacious room dnd stunning views outside. If only it hadn’t rained the entire time I’d have made more use of the patio off of the room more. We were so happy to arrive to a fully dressed dining table ready for Christmas day. Our only mild inconvenience was that the kitchen and some of the cookware/utensils had seen better days which made them hard to clean. In the end, we had everything we needed and we made a delicious Christmas feast. There was, however, also 4 refrigerators so we were able to separate the fresh goods for the meat eaters and the vegans. We had a splendid time staying here as Tommy went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. Also… fur babies welcome! Would highly recommend!
