10 of us traveled to Villa Sante from India to bring in the new year. Thanks to the amazing team both in and outside the villa - Falguni & Inam who coordinated with us va AirBnB and Gaya and his excellent staff who took care of our every requirement during our stay - we couldn't have asked for a better place to bring in 2018. We had requested an early (9am) check in, which Falguni very graciously accommodated. She was helpful even during the duration of our trip, messaging us every once in a while to check in on us. Villa Sante itself is spectacular! The rooms were spacious, the house was spotless, the food was superlative (the breakfast pancakes are the fluffiest we've ever eaten and ask for the dinner barbecue!) and the vibe of the place is excellent overall. It might be listed as an AirBnB villa but it's run like a boutique hotel. Kalpatiya doesn't have much around it, so we spent our 4 days in and outside Villa Sante - swimming, wading through the lagoon outside the villa and lazing on our practically private beach. Gaya suggested and made arrangements for us to go dolphin-watching one morning, which was great too. The only surprising thing was the lack of blankets in the rooms - only 2 of the 5 rooms in the villa had blankets. When we requested extra bedding, all the staff could provide were extra sheets. On the whole, we've had a spectacular time at Villa Sante, and I would definitely go back in the future.
