Greatly enjoyed my stay and will always recall it fondly. It made me reevaluate my own frenetic lifestyle. Very beautiful, natural surroundings. Tacha, the host, is very responsive which was vital since his parents (who live nearby on the premises don’t speak English). His family comes on the premises and they are wonderful and kind people (Tacha’s mother often shares the meals she’s prepared) who I wish I could have been able to speak with in a mutually intelligible language. It is crucial to get the WiFi password when checking in so that one can communicate with Tacha, especially if transportation is lacking. He can arrange for a taxi whenever needed. This home is out in the countryside and few people speak much English so it’s good to keep this in mind.

Probably one of the kindest and sweetest hosts I have ever met in my 30+ airbnb bookings. Tacha’s parents were so helpful and genuine it made our stay very special. Super chill and authentic house in the middle of the fields, facing beautiful mountains. Wifi didn’t work but who cares right? Only weakness was to find the place, gps coordinates from airbnb’s app are wrong so don’t rely on it and ask Tacha prior arriving.

The place is within our expectations as we had read the previous reviews. It was unfortunate that there were some hiccups along the way. One such example is inaccuracy in google map, which resulted in us going to the wrong place (in another province) and when we finally arrived, the entire district had power disruption making it even harder to find at night. Advice for future guests, don't arrive at night. Host's father was very helpful, friendly, warm and polite throughout our stay. The house itself is well done up, you can see the owner's pride throughout, esp in the little touches and do-ups all over the vicinity. For a home with a lot of greenery, it is surprisingly mosquitoes free and during the day, nature itself visits non-stop, ie the birds and squirrels.

What a great stay. The hosts were amazing and such warm-hearted people. Even though we couldn’t communicate, we were able to create a connection. The place is also really close to several of the national parks and a good spot to stay while making your way up north. I highly recommend choosing this place.
