Nice place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The flat is simple but functional, it has everything you need. The best WiFi speed I've ever seen -over 100mbps both ways! Working was comfortable. Some reviewers meantioned the hard bed but for me it was too soft) It's perfect for nature lovers if you feel like talking long walks in the national Park (don't miss the view point tower in the middle of the forest, spectacular!) or several km long promenade along the river. The air is so fresh in Ogre! It's 40 minutes away from Riga by train and 50 min by bus. Ogre itself is a very small town where mostly retired people live with decent shops but nothing much to see apart from the natural wilderness. Head to Riga for cultural experience, it's a very convenient ride) Andris is one of the best hosts I've ever met ,so friendly and helpful, always available. He even picked me up from the bus station which is less than 5 minutes walk from the flat. In October the heating wasnt fully on yet so it was a bit chilly, when I meantioned this, he immediately brought a super powerful heater which made my stay very comfortable. All in all that is a really good place and the price is nice too, absolutely recommend!
