Spent a week at the cabin and found it to be a wonderful stay
Fantastic stay, no issues
First time staying at Melissa’s place. It was great and I definitely would come back. What made the stay overall is the great staff at the Trading Post. Brigitte and her team were always available and responsive to our needs. The heater was having issues and they promptly provided wood, kindling, and even a propane torch to start a fire in the wood burning stove. The stove kept the place toasty for us. The restaurant and bar in the trading post is worth the visit. Great bourbon selection at the bar for those who partake. If you are skiing Monarch, staying here in Sargents was an advantage, as most of the ski traffic comes from Salida. Overall great experience.
Lovely spot and an easy drive to Monarch for a great weekend in the mountains!
