We had our extended family of 12. Grandkids as young as 4. Plenty of space for a family vacation. Easy walks to store, restaurants and short drive to sites. Dryburg Abbey was very interesting as was biking. Wonderful place to stay

Cleikum Mill was an ideal property for our group of 12 walkers.The location was perfect and parking was generally available right outside. We found the kitchen and lounge areas on the 2 floors worked really well when we catered for ourselves; had takeaways; enjoyed pies from the local pie shop; divided into the late/early bedtimes; TV/non TV watchers; and we made good use of the drying room too. Graham was extremely helpful - and patient - this trip was rebooked 4 times, he gave lots of local recommendations and an invaluable, up to date selection of leaflets was available in the property. He responded really quickly to all queries since our original booking in 2019.

We had a fantastic break over Christmas as two families , there was ample room and literally everything you could need for cooking , cleaning etc was all there ready. Very clean and well maintained and the locals were very welcoming when we ventured into the villiage. Can’t recommend enough.

Brilliant space for large (or smaller groups of hiring separately)! We hired Cleikum Mill for a family get together , originally in 2020 but this was postponed. We’ve just got back and can’t speak highly enough of the accommodation and have booked again for 2023! We had a family Christmas Day, 17 guests all sat down for a wonderful Christmas dinner, no problems at all, the kitchens really do have everything you could possibly need! The space for bikes is excellent and more than enough space in the living and sleeping areas. 10/10!
