It was a nice house. The owner is nice and the neighborhood is very quiet.

Cleanliness was not up to the minimum level I consider acceptable. There were dead bugs and other collected dust and dirt in many places such as on tip of appliances. The coffee table had a watermelon seed on it and didn't appear to have been cleaned. Cobwebs. Windows and the shower doors had heave water stains or weren't cleaned. The showers had what looked like black mold or mildew. I briefly walked without shoes and the soles of my feet were almost black afterwards. We didn't want to move, so we ended up having to clean the place ourselves since they refused to send over a cleaning person or reimburse us to hire someone. The kitchen shined after we cleaned it well. Two if the rooms have twin beds, not double beds as stated on the listing (they mention this in the description, but the room icons show double beds, as do the photos. There are no TV's as mentioned in the listing. The garage door doesn't work, so they leave it unlocked and you have to open and close it manually (minor security concern). The listing needs to be updated as it is misleading/inaccurate. The owners were helpful in that they took our reservation on NYE and got us into the house. We thought that might be part of the reason cleanliness wasn't up to par, and waited until the second day to ask for them to do something about cleanliness and the A/C not sufficiently cooling one of the rooms. They sent a technician for the A/C and fixed that problem, but I experienced them as defensive about the cleanliness issue and they accused us of making the mess in the night we stayed there and (reasonably) questioned why we didn't complain at check-in, but we didn't because it was late on NYE. We asked them to either send over a cleaning person or to reimburse us for the cleaning, but they refused. I would have asked to cancel the listing, but my travel companions really liked the location and didn't want to move all our stuff again. The location was perfect for our group and it's in one of the nicer neighborhoods in Asuncion, but you must have a car. In general the house is spacious and convenient, but a lot of details are on the not so nice side and that combined with he cleanliness issue we had meant it wasn't that comfortable. On the plus side the A/C units were very clean. I would not stay there again and unfortunately can't recommend it. Note this is the first time I've ever left a negative review.

Localizado en barrio residencial tranquilo, excepto fines de semana que se escucha musica a todo volumen desde el medio dia. El duplex es amplio, espacioso, seguro. Tiene lo minimo para hospedarse. En la cochera no entra un vehiculo standar. Sistema de calefaccion/frio funciona bien
