The cabin was an excellent find. The view was stunning and the cabin was well stocked with everything you’d need. We loved watching the local wildlife and traffic on the river. Would gladly stay again.

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin. It’s a beautiful place. The cabin was very spacious very clean, and the view was amazing. We were able to enjoy our family and also relax. we will definitely look to use this cabin again in the future when we visit our granddaughter next time.

The house was perfect. We enjoyed the privacy and the scenery. It was everything the listing said. Melissa was very helpful and quick to respond. We look forward to staying again next year.

We needed a place for close family due to sad circumstances-- my father's funeral. Despite that, the place was perfect to reconnect, reflect, mourn, and be happy together all at the same time. The space is open, and airy with a large wraparound porch that affords stunning views of the Ohio River. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pans, glasses, cups, and basic spices and sundries like sugar, cooking oil, etc. Plenty of clean linens, towels, kitchen linens are present. Everything is clean and neat as a pin. The description advertises "sleeps six", keep in mind that there's one master bedroom, and the other beds are a twin bunk bed and a double. The only negative ( to some it may not matter) is that the wifi is only capable of basic internet use-- if you're trying to stream media (Netflix, etc.), or need to do work that requires good internet connectivity, you'll likely be disappointed. I'd absolutely welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

This was an enjoyable place to stay. We especially liked watching the barge traffic up and down the Ohio river and swinging on the charming downstairs porch swing that made for a relaxing retreat. We also hung out for a couple of nights around the campfire area with s'mores. We cooked most of our meals and found the cookware and utensils that we needed. It was nice that the cooking area was facing the river so it felt calming. The sternwheeler and Blennerhassett Island/Museum were only 20 minutes away in Parkersburg and 25 minutes to Marietta and activities there as well. Melissa communicated quickly and gave good advice for grocery store, playground, etc.
