Franco and Anna were absolutely delightful, and their lovely flat is a gem. The five flights of stairs certainly gave me a workout, but well worth it!

Franco and Anna are wonderful and friendly hosts. Their apartment is perfectly situated and simple to find. The room is just right for a single traveller with all amenities you might need. I felt comfortable and welcome in their home and I hope to see them again!

I am really happy i was able to stay with Franco. Living with a local family is something special and helps you immerse in the city. I could use the kitchen, which was invaluable. I really enjoyed talking about photography and getting tips for locations. Be aware that there is a LOT of stairs - it was not a problem for me and because of the upper floor there was a really nice view at the rooftops. There is a shared bathroom between the two guests which was large and clean. One of the rooms has a table, mine did not have one, but I could use the study, so no problem there. If possible, I would love to come back. I felt as if I came as a guest and then was leaving my grandparents.

The apartment is centrally located within walking distance of all major sites. It is quiet. The bed is very comfortable and Anna keeps everything very clean and orderly. Franco has extensive knowledge of Venice and its history and can communicate in English. He readilly shared his time and knowledge to make my stay with him and Anna very enjoyable. They are wonderful people. I felt at home with them.

I had a lovely time staying at Franco's, a nice place I was happy to go back to after walking all day throught the amazing city of Venice. Franco gave me all the informations I needed and kindly came to pick me up at the boat station, that was so helpful. A very nice address if you are planning to explore Venice.
