Jacob was the most accommodating host we have ever had. He and Claire really want you to feel at home. Many special touches to the house. The cottage is tricky to drive to in the dark your first time, so plan to arrive in the day. Beautiful setting looking out at the Pisgah mountains from the living room. Remote enough to feel private and in the woods. Hiking trails begin from the property. It is a 30 minute drive into Asheville if you’re using this as a home base for the city of Asheville . Loved it!

You have got to stay at the Cabin! Everything about this cabin was fantastic!! You can get to downtown Asheville in 24 minutes. Equally easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our little Honda Fit had no trouble getting to the cabin on the gravel driveway. The location is quiet, serene, and offers fabulous views... my wife and I loved our stay here. What a view to wake up to! We enjoyed walking around the property looking for butterflies and bees around the numerous species of wild flowers. A charming creek runs through the field. We saw wild turkey every morning and evening, saw a pair of deer prance through the field, and we even saw some bear prints. The cabin itself is very well appointed with fresh cut flowers, high-end toiletries, comfortable beddings and a very newly remodeled kitchen. I can tell J&C paid close attention to detail. I read comfortably on the deep couch for hours only distracted by the gorgeous views of Mt. Pisgah. We particularly enjoyed dining on the deck looking across the valley and the views. J&C live close by and were very attentive and responsive during the trip. They provided a personal touch that many property management companies cannot provide. Clearly we are smitten and we will stay at this cabin again. Don't miss it!
