Overall a very clean unit. The swimming pool was closed for cleaning but overall it was a very comfortable stay!

Lovely hosts and clean and spacious rooms. However, the place was advertised as entire home but the hosts actually live in the house. Had I known that it was for private rooms, we wouldn’t have booked as we prefer to have a place for ourselves. Despite that, we were generously offered 2 big rooms with toilets for 4 people. Very clean and tidy rooms. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. A few comments would be no heater in the room (we came from North and it was quite a chilly night then) but the hosts offered to turn on the central heating but the heat did not quite reach the rooms, no rubbish bins in the toilet, while the bed was firm which I like, the pillows were so flat. Like I said we stayed only for 1 night and it was a pleasant stay.

The room was a generous size and warm. It had very basic kitchen facilities, and it advertises breakfast included but there was none included. Wifi is free which is unlimited and good as it was wet weather in Auckland the weekend we were there and there is no tv. This wasn’t a big problem but make sure to take a book. The main problem we had was the beds. They were too hard and uncomfortable so we would recommend a topper pad for both beds to make it more comfortable. The host was very friendly and waited up for us as we arrived after 10pm for check in. I do like apartment for the privacy as the apartment had our own entry and size but we would need to know the beds were more comfy if we were to stay again. Handy to shops and where we wanted to go.
