We had a fantastic time during our stay! The cabin's location offered a stunning view and was in a great spot. We were pleased to find the cabin exceptionally clean and neat upon our arrival. The owner maintained excellent communication throughout our trip, which was incredibly helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a family getaway—it’s the perfect spot to spend quality time at the cabin.

"D" Cabin on the Lake was a little treasure! We stayed here with 4 boys (ages 7-15) and one dog and all of us went to bed exhausted and thoroughly happy every day! From the great fishing (an assortment of bass, catfish, and bluegills), to boating, to paddle boarding (the river is a short trip down the channel), to just sitting and enjoying the afternoon it was fantastic. The cabin looks small but even with 6 people we never felt cramped or crowded preparing and eating meals, watching a movie, or just relaxing in bed. We had a great weekend and will be back!

You can’t beat the price or location for this rental. The space had access to the main waterways with a dock great for a boat or casual swimming. It was also close to an HEB (grocery store) and restaurants. Overall it was nice, the only reason we didn’t give a 5 star review is it’s a little small to fit the suggested number of guests. This is especially true if multiple couples are staying in the space. There is only one dedicated bedroom, the other being a converted living room with a curtain for a door. Also the bathroom is attached to this “bedroom” meaning that if you have to use it you’ll need to walk through while someone’s asleep in the bed, etc. All that being said for the price, time of year, and location I would recommend this space.

“D” cabin on the Lake is a beautiful, peaceful place for a respite, water play and comfortable waterside dining and views! Super easy check in and as advertised!!! We will return!
