Fantastic Gastown loft. Spacious, well appointed, lovely old building. Well situated near all of Gastown's best bars and restaurants. Proximity to DTSE may be challenging for some, but the building is very safe and private and these days it's the price you pay to be in Vancouver's oldest and most vibrant neighbourhood. We had no issues during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the location. Noah was a great, flexible and responsive host. We would certainly stay again. Thanks Noah!

Huge loft in gastown! Noah and Julie were very thoughtful and responsive hosts. Really nice to have a good indoor parking spot. My indoor cat loved the space (especially able to look down at us from the loft space through the glass barrier). My dog liked the loft but wasn’t a fan of the neighbourhood, mainly because there aren’t any nice grassy areas nearby and she tends to not like busy street living. Maybe we could have taken her to the nearby Pet Psychic to learn why. Probably fine for dogs who are used to this and of course great for humans!

Great place to stay in Vancouver, we walked everywhere! The loft was really nice and spacious, and the others living in the building were all very friendly. So many cute dogs too! Having a garage to park our car in was also very helpful (we road-tripped up from Portland). Others have mentioned the large houseless population in the area. Coming from Portland, this was no worse, and most people kept to themselves. We felt safe walking around as a couple and really enjoyed the city. If I were alone, I would stay out of Chinatown after dark though.
