This was EXACTLY what wanted for our family of 5: 4 adults and 1 almost adult (17 1/2). Everything was exactly as described and actually seemed more spacious than the pictures led us to believe. We caught bluegill, sunfish and large mouth bass from the dock and easily had enough for 2 meals for 5 adults. Loved that we were so secluded yet still close to town for shopping and ice cream at Frosty's. The fire pit was a great spot to relax at the end of the day and the deck was perfect for sipping coffee in the morning. The mosquitos were unusually active so you may want to have bug spray handy, even upon arrival. We enjoyed everything about our stay and will be back!

Great place to stay! The cabin felt private and cozy, and it was a great perk to have a fishing boat available while we were there.

Our family of six had a great stay. Cozy but very doable cabin with new appliances and nice deck update. Although, the other furnishings were dated, we were not there to hang out inside. The yard was big enough for kids and dog to play. We brought a crate for our dog to comply with and respect pet limitations. The little boat and trolling motor was perfect for getting out and doing some fishing with the kids. We caught enough to have two fish dinners. Bass and panfish caught with nightcrawlers. Even right off the dock we had good Bass catches. The area has plenty outdoor offerings. We drove to Hackensack and had ice cream at Sun N Fun. We brought bikes with and took a trip up the Paul Bunyan Trail to Walker and back to Hackensack. Nice paved trail was easy to take the family for a pedal through the Chippewa National Forest. Minnesota heaven indeed.
