Sharon is an excellent hostess and an even better neighbor. The cottage has it all! Truly a home away from home experience that does not leave me wanting for anything. The location is prime for a jump off point to the Olympic National Park, but its proximity to downtown and Fort Worden State Park is awesome if you never want to leave Port Townsend. Truly an exceptional find!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the bird’s nest ! The cottage had everything that we needed. It was a great place to stay while we were looking for a house to buy. It was wonderful to have our dogs with us and they could go outside to the garden off the bedroom. The flowers were amazing especially the rhododendrons ! I highly recommend staying there and Sharon was very friendly and accommodating!

The Bird's Nest Cottage was an absolutely perfect place to stay for an extended period. The combination of the location (proximity to Fort Worden), the amenities, and the easy communication with the hostess, Sharon (right next door), was unbeatable. Thank you, Sharon!
