The Old Courtyard has a cobbled courtyard as its hub, with a fairy-lit garden. We have just added a Jacuzzi Pool for all the guests to use. It is both elegant and old (over 200 years to be precise), having been built by the Portuguese when Cochin was their window to the spice trade. The rooms have a choice of double bed or 2 single beds. Some are wooden floors some are tiled. The furniture are antique although the new and come from all over the country. All the Standard Rooms are airconditioned, with coffee/tea maker, filtered water, and safe. The bathrooms are attached to the room and have modern facilties, with hot water and hair dryer. The Old Courtyard is centered around a charming cobbled courtyard framed with elegant arches and a stately old mango tree in its center. During the season, in the evenings, you can sit around the tree and enjoy the enchanting music played by local artists using the violin, flute and clay pot drum rhythms. Traipse up the grand wooden staircase to the rooms. The rooms are set in an intimate milieu and are charmingly furnished with quaint Colonial furniture.
