It is the second time we have stayed here and it is the perfect size for our family. The location is rural and very peaceful but within an easy drive to local towns and attractions. The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you could possibly need for a cosy self catered stay.

Lovely, cosy cottage. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings nearby and also drivable distance to towns, hiking trails, coastline, etc. The cottage is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbours, including the pleasant and helpful host, Eileen. Both Patricia and Eileen were lovely and accommodating and we hope to be back some time soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the house - every need was catered for with plenty of wood and turf for the fires, well provided kitchen with use of condiments, tea coffee etc. We arrived late afternoon at Knock airport and got our shopping for the week as we passed through Swinford on the way. The weather was very wet but it was lovely to have a beautiful cozy place to come back to. We visited Westport, Galway, Foxford (Woolen Mills), Belmullet (Crab at Talbots), Castlebar, Crossmolina, Ballina and made the most of our stay. Terrybaun pottery just down the road was fantastic too! The walk down to the lake was lovely and we plan to come back in the Spring/Summer when we can make the most of it. Eileen met us as we arrived and was very friendly and accommodating.

Our stay was wonderful. Eileen, the local care taker of the property was so helpful when any situation presented. The house is wonderful and their is access to a beautiful walk to the water. I love county Mayo and it was wonderful staying the entire month to really explore. Thank you Pat

Elias Cottage ist ein tolles, gemütliches Haus um zu entspannen und die Natur zu genießen. Wir haben mit 5 Personen dort 10 Tage verbracht und es gab genug Raum für alle. Es fehlte an nichts: Küche ist groß und gut ausgestattet, 2 Kamine, WLAN, Bluetooth-Anlage und Fernseher. Es gibt viele verschiedene hübsche Orte in der Umgebung zu entdecken und alle Menschen, denen wir begegnet sind waren ausgesprochen herzlich. Vielen Dank an Patricia, dafür das wir bei dir zu Gast sein durften und Danke an Eileen für die Unterstützung!
