Beautiful layout in the converted barn. We had several indoor seating areas & 2 porches to see the sunrise and sunset. Some favorite perks were the conga drum, chess set, the porch swing, fresh eggs and the birding tips. Great place for together time!

Our family was delighted by our stay. Susan was proactive and accommodating, asking what we wanted stocked in the kitchen for breakfast, giving us local recommendations and checking in. The place is charming in a rustic, cozy way - exactly what we were looking for and expecting at a reasonable price. Quirky layout of a converted barn attic (a plus for us), extremely well insulated and heated with cheery Latin American inspired decor and just enough amenities (per the description, expect more of a kitchenette than a full kitchen) The surroundings are stunning - especially the view of the fields from the deck. What a place to watch the eclipse. The goats, chickens and cats were a huge highlight for our kids. Highly recommend for a couple on a getaway with or without adventurous kids.

We spent three nights and got to know Susan and Fernando during that time frame. So very easy to talk to and we connected on common likes. Fernando and I with music, and Mary and Susan with animals. It was a pleasant surprise to meet the goats who live on the property. The location is perfect if you are visiting one of the colleges in the area. The home is in the country yet only four miles to Canton, New York.
