Es war eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft. Die Lage war gut und wir hatten alles was wir brauchten! Bevor du die Unterkunft bucht, sollte die jedoch bewusst sein, dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt. Für uns nicht hitzebeständigen Europäer war das schon bisschen schwierig… dafür würde ich jedoch keinen Stern abziehen, da es mir vorher bewusst war! Ansonsten war alles so wie auf den Fotos, sauber, ordentlich. Man hat sich direkt wie zuhause gefühlt! Vor allem der kleine Vorgarten war toll! Ich kann es nur jedem weiter empfehlen!

This place was located perfectly for our stay in Santa Catalina. We stayed in town to do a scuba dive at the Cobia National. We were able to walk to the dive shop which was perfect! The house was also located near a pizza shop and ice cream shop but also to multiple places in town. We never had to use our rental while in town! The only down side was it was super hot in the Air BnB and we could've used more fans. Otherwise we loved the stay and enjoyed everything.

The place looks exactly like on the photos and is located in a very peaceful location. However the location is a bit remote and you have to walk 15-20 minutes to get to the village and to most restaurants, there’s no bike rental or alike. Only some larger hotels offer that, good to know beforehand if you aren’t good on foot. Communication was pretty slow and I didn’t get all the info before checkin but I managed myself. What HAS to be mentioned for Santa Catalina (at least during the time of our stay in March): it was extremely hot throughout day and night without wind. It was barely possible to find nights rest even though with the ventilation. Places actually need AC if the temperatures are like this most of the time. Apart from that and in comparison the place has a fairly good value.

Positives: the photos are visually accurate, and whoever cleans does a good job. However ventilation and privacy put me off recommending it. I have lived in the tropics for years without AirCon, and having three ceiling fans operating at full rotation with little draft is just not comfortable in this unfortunately hot space. It was only barely possible to sleep with the single (very noisy) pedestal fan provided. Secondly, the space looks an oasis but it doesn't feel private in a number of ways. Though with visual barriers, you're surrounded by the conversations of others. Your bed is within 3 meters of diners eating a pizza in a restaurant next door, at times. Something about the yard and its lack of definition didn't feel relaxing, and the problem wasn't other guests. Without introduction, the woman running an ice cream stand that opened on some days of the week would walk in unannounced, unsmiling, unapologetic, and do things in this area. She certainly felt at home, but I didn't.

Logement spacieux et propre. Attention les 3 ventilateurs de plafond sont inefficaces car trop hauts. Seul le ventilateur sur pied (bruyant) peut améliorer un peu la situation. Il n'y a pas de moustiquaires aux fenêtres et donc impossible de laisser ouvert le soir et la nuit pour rafraichir la pièce car les insectes envahissent le logement. Ce logement devrait être climatisé car vraiment pas possible de passer des nuits à minima correctes.
