If you want to get away from it all, and have a great view of Paso farm country, this is the ticket. The Whalebone Cab was really good.

Oak Flat Retreat is a wonderful, comfortable and restful spot to relax. The serene location is an easy drive to all of the wineries we chose to visit. Everything in the well stocked kitchen was easy to find and the outdoor spaces were beautiful places to enjoy the views and watch the wildlife. Inside, everything was spotless and the decor was perfect for the location with artistic touches everywhere. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely visit again. The five of us enjoyed everything about this place. The attention to details, the comfortable furnishings, art work, well equipped kitchen, the floor plan and outside views and walks were amazing. It was close to town, yet far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Of course, there are lots of wineries and restaurants to enjoy as well. Our host was wonderful and attentive even with a couple of small issues at the house that were promptly attended to. We will be back next time. Fabulous!

Meriam was an awesome host. The pictures of the house were beautiful, the scenery was beautiful. The tub in the studio was not level or mounted, but that was not a huge deal. As far as the reality of it. The one thing I was having a quarrel about, was the cleaning fee. Meriam leaves clear instructions which is nice. On her instructions you basically have to run all the towels and gather all the bedding. Again not a huge deal but when you pay upwards of 2300 for 3 days it’s kind of steep. Definitely wished I would have had to pay a little less. My wife and mother had to clean for almost an hour and a half to meet the expectations of the instructions. We were at an event and not counting sleeping but at the house an average of two hours a day. So, very little mess at all. Overall though Meriam is an excellent host and you should definitely give it a try.

Such a cozy and beautiful place to stay. I had told Meriam that my girlfriend and I were celebrating our birthdays there and she left us a delicious ice cream cake! It was the most thoughtful thing and Airbnb host has ever done!
