Peaceful place with mountain view and lots of cats! Hosts were responsive to our questions - most of the time, within 10-15 minutes or less. The main inconvenience for us were the kitchen amenities (quite old oven, pots and pans) and some of the utensils that were not properly washed prior to our arrival. While the hosts were responsive, clear instructions regarding common issues we may encounter could have been provided ahead of time. Especially having only stayed for one night, it felt like we had to chat with the host quite a lot about things like: how to get coffee from the coffee place on site or how to fix a common error with the heater.

Un loc minunat pentru relaxare, refugiul perfect! Gazda este foarte prietenoasa iar accesul se face ușor dacă urmați instrucțiunile detaliate oferite. Magazin aproape, restaurant cu mâncare foarte bună la 10 minute de mers cu mașina. Gazda oferă absolut tot ce este necesar ca oaspeții să se simtă precum in confortul propriei locuințe. 5 stele chiar dacă este calificativul maxim, e puțin pentru cat de minunată este această locație.

Rares & Gabie sent us clear instructions on how to get to the location, where to park and how to enter the cabin. It was already warm and cozy inside. The wooden cabin is beautifully located up on the hill so you have to climb some stairs to get to it, which is not so easy, but it is all worth it when you see that perfect view on the Retezat Mountains and hear birds chirping. The space was well equipped and everything was nicely cleaned. More than that, the bedroom being located upstairs, apart from the living room, gave the place an intimate atmosphere. The host was very kind to help us find an important item we've lost there. Thank you very much for that.

Pretty good overall experience, good coffee, very nice view, but be aware of the squeaky wood. Would gladly recommend!
