The accommodation is beautiful, even better than in the pictures. It is very difficult to get to the place over the mountain, and the location on maps is not the most accurate, so you have to be in contact with the owners to find the property. Also, you have to cross the same mountain to a bigger store, since the stores in the village are poorly stocked and expensive. The view is beautiful, the sea is warm and clean. The beach is not what you would expect from Greece.

The house is amazing, one of those rare cases when it’s even better in real life. It’s spacious, clean and has everything needed for a longer stay. The most impressive part of the house is the terrace and the view, it’s very relaxing to just stay there and enjoy the scenery and silence. WIFI is working well, there are flatscreen TVs in the living room and in the bedroom, kitchen was equipped with everything needed, including coffee, olive oil, various spices. Host was very communicative and responsive and provided us everything needed for our stay. Highly recommend this place!

The place was as described and even better! The view is fantastic. The house has everything you might need. The host has kindly accommodated our late arrival. The house even has a water tank to accommodate local water supply disruption which was very useful. The host always welcome and responsive. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent hosts were extremely helpful and responded to every request. Nothing too much trouble for them. On positive side: * Balcony was great space with fantastic view, in shade for most of day and relatively private. * Air conditioning excellent, and vital as extremely hot while we were there. * About 15 minutes’ walk to tavernas and supermarkets, but uphill on way back. * Host had good English. Very Greek tourist destination with few foreigners. Enough English spoken by most people who needed it. * Apartment had sufficient equipment all in good with good Wi-Fi, though a microwave would have been useful. On the negative side: * Property not easy to find without owners help (who provided useful maps location). I recommend not trying without help. I also recommend making sure you know the way before walking back in the dark. * Steep winding road to village from Thiva was a challenging drive. Roads generally bad in Greece. However, worth the effort.

Παναγιοτα et son mari sont des hôtes chaleureux et attentifs, aucun problème de communication la maison est simple mais fonctionnelle, nous avons passé tout notre séjour sur la magnifique terrasse face au golfe . Alyki est une petite station agréable loin du tourisme de masse où nous avons découvert une région authentique . N’hésitez pas à vous aventurer dans les petits villages aux alentours et à vous attabler dans les tavernes accueillantes et aux mets délicieux faits maison à des prix modestes. On ne parle que grec mais la communication est savoureuse !! Nous reviendrons sûrement finir d’explorer la région et dans la maison de παναγοτα
