It was the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend with friends. We really enjoyed the character of the house and all of the antiques and curiosities. A lovely, cozy place to spend a chilly winter weekend.

Our visit was pure magic. Beatrice's house is an exquisite early 19th home, a haven of peace and restfulness in a beautiful location. It was everything we hoped for our destination Christmas.

We always travel to this area for Thanksgiving and as our extended family has gotten larger, we have had to get a place of our own. Usually we view it as a place to just sleep, but Beatrice's home was so cozy and we truly felt right at home. Our granddaughter loved getting up and feeding the ducks in the morning and it was very peaceful. It met all of our needs and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a great stay!

This charming little cottage is like a walk back in time. Everything from the wide plank floors to the latch key bathroom door and original wood beams makes you feel as if it is still 1840. The babbling brook right out back makes you feel at one with nature. The owners managed to stay true to the integrity of the house stocked full with many charming antiques, beautiful rugs, old photographs, etc. They also manage to keep this vintage treasure spotlessly clean. They do have enough modern updates, i.e., shower stall, microwave, etc, to make it all work easily. Stepping outside there are an assortment of antique wrought iron furnishings and garden statues which makes the property feel like a fairy garden. They certainly had the right guest as many of the antiques they collected are identical to mine from door stops to wall cherubs.
