We enjoyed our stay here. Gipsy Point was very quiet compared to Mallacoota. The garden was beautiful with lots of birds to watch. The restaurant was OK too.

Clean and comfortable, but not fancy. The basics are there - a simple kitchen, a good hot shower, comfortable bed and heat pump for heating / cooling. Very quiet - apart from the lodge's restaurant the nearest shops etc are Mallacoota or Genoa. The surrounding country is amazing, and recovering surprisingly quickly after the fires.

Absolutely stunning location and amazing hospitality from Gerlinda. Will always want to come back and explore more of this outstanding scenery. P.S look out for the charmingly adorable wildlife! 🥰

We loved our stay and already can’t wait to return. The cottage is not fancy but it is very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. But the real highlight was the location, the bush surrounds and the wildlife. We spotted two koalas in the tree above our cottage - part of a bunch that had apparently been relocated to Gipsy Point after the bushfires. We were also visited on our balcony by lots of friendly parrots and lorikeets who ate from our hands. And we loved having a beer at the lodge restaurant, watching the sun set over a river. Would highly recommend this spot.

A great spot for getting away from it all in a charmingly rustic setting. Magical times on the water and fantastic hosts who provide a simple yet quality experience, and helped us to ensure that all our needs were met. The views from the restaurant are stunning, the food is fresh and delicious and we enjoyed sharing our balcony with the King parrots.
