Amazing place, not too far out, great views and comfortable cabin. Wifi not working, possibly due to load shedding but great cabin experience.

This is a very rustic wooden chalet and we found our stay not as great as we had hoped, especially traveling with small kids. We really tried to make the most of our stay but the listing says there is a pool for swimming and on arrival we were told that this was not the case. On the first night we had no hot water which the host rectified upon our complaints. The shower temp did not regulate and the toilet did not flush properly. There was also a bird or rodent living in the roof /wall which scratched and moved around every night. If you are up for a rustic, almost camp type experience then perhaps this place would work for you. But I’m not sure that we will be returning. We have stayed in many airbnbs in various towns and cities around the world and it’s the first time that we never even met the actual host face to face, only ever dealing with the house keeper and her husband when we needed things fixed. A rather peculiar experience with too many unpleasant occurrences.

We got lucky on short notice to find this lovely spot. Remote yet 5 mins from Knysna waterfront and the views are to die for. Yes if u don't want neighbour's on your door don't come here but they appear to be nice neighbour's and it definitely didn't bother us would have loved to stay the 3rd night
