Lovely stay in the Gables, gorgeous house, very spacious lovely living room. Centrally located to all amenities, a short walk to the quaint harbour. Great restaurants nearby. Brilliant walks. Very cosy house would love to return thank you ☺️

Crail is a stunning little fishing village and the house is ideally located. The cottage was cosy, rustic and quaint, however communication wasn’t great - it’s the first airbnb we’ve stayed in where there was no welcome information at all ie Wi-Fi code and general information for the property. The lounge was nice and spacious as were the bedrooms. However, the kitchen wasn’t particularly well equipped.

Cosy, comfy, homely. An ideal location for exploring the East Neuk. Will def be back. House was warm, spacious and well appointed. As a wee aside, would have been good to know no hairdryer! Plenty of towels and crockery and glasses…..and also dog treats! ♥️ Tin foil and washing up liquid ran out but this was on the second last night…..foil and cling film would be a good idea, otherwise, everything we needed. No plastic/bottles or food waste recycling which was a shame. Plenty toilet roll, immaculate bathroom and bedrooms, excellent powerful shower and big bath!! Small lamps in each main room and bedrooms were great. Smart TV in lounge and lovely scented reed diffusers upstairs and down - nice touch!

Great communication from Andrew and location v handy for central Crail & buses to neighbouring villages etc. disappointed that kitchen wasn't very clean on arrival and the downstairs bedroom had strong dog smell unfortunately. Andrew was responsive to have it cleaned again but this didn't suit once we were unpacked and in the place. Curtain pole issue also but that was just bad luck I guess it came out the wall and was on the floor one day after we returned from a day out. Jackie was helpful and came to check the issue immediately. Overall a great house but in my opinion didn't reflect the price due to cleanliness sadly.
