The place was gorgeous and the house was lovely. It was extremely quiet and serene. It was cold which we knew coming in but we were disappointed because there was some firewood prepared for us in the cabin but only enough to get us through a few hours. We were told to get more from beneath the house where there was a sealed bin. This bin was behind so much stuff, deep beneath the deck, it was unlabeled, and there were multiple other bins stacked on top of it so in the pitch black we had to fight our way under the house and open every single bin until we found the one with firewood. Then we had to drag it up and around to the house. My boyfriend tweaked his knee pretty bad and we felt pretty frustrated. Also, all of the folding chairs had been left out during the snowstorm so we couldn’t use them the entire time we were there. Other than that, it was a nice experience. The propane lights were easy to use and the wood stove fire was cozy.

It was wonderful stay, super quiet during this time of the year, views at the lake are beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is off grid and we enjoyed being away from technologies and being a little wild. Yhr lake water was surprisingly not that cold and I had no problems to bathe in it. Pay attention to the address, there are two East Shore Drives nearby, you need the one on Little Ellis Pond.

This was our 3rd time up to this camp! We love it there and have great memories bringing our toddler every year now. It is very relaxing and I have to say the inside is so cozy and beautifully furnished. The pond is super warm even in September and we did a lot of swimming and paddle boarding. We also had fun jumping in the water at Coos Canyon (scary cliff jump!) and did a hike at Tumbledown which was a lot of fun. We will be back next year! Jessie

prior to check in we got a message with all the most helpful information the water was clean and the dock was perfect. no bathroom in the house but a cute little outhouse up the hill. parking was great. little far from a grocery store but worth it. no cell service but that was a perk to me.

We had a wonderful stay at Chuck & Erin’s. They were very easy to communicate with and always willing to answer our questions. Everything about the cabin was described perfectly in the listing and there were no surprises. The neighbors down the road were incredibly nice as well! I highly recommend staying here as we will be again sometime soon.
