Our stay at the farm was exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend away. We were close enough to enjoy the day in New Bern with only a 20 minute or so drive to downtown, where we walked around the farmers market, visited shops and had a delicious lunch! We also really enjoyed the peacefulness at the farm house and getting up in the morning and seeing all the animals. We were lucky enough to be there to see some adorable lambs jumping and playing, and we got to know all the friendly cats. The chickens and guineas were also quite entertaining! It was a wonderful stay and Ainsley was kind enough to make sure we had everything we needed with a fully stocked kitchen, she even brought us some milk and cinnamon rolls to make sure we had breakfast covered! The home is beautiful- thank you!

My family had the most delightful stay at this rustic bed-and-breakfast nestled on a working farm. The spacious interior provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring local attractions and an amazing tour of the lively farm, where sheep, cows, chickens, and guinea hens roamed freely. The farm-fresh breakfast was a highlight, and being able to purchase products straight from the farm was a lovely bonus. Our 2 yr old and 6 year old loved the experience!! Highly recommend for a unique and rejuvenating getaway! Our hosts were incredibly generous with their time and communication. The location is 20 minutes away from Kinston and New Bern.

Super recommended! They even delivered fresh eggs in the mornings.. the place had so many things, the kitchen was loaded with seasonings and many other needed utensils! I can't say enough good things of this place, can't wait to be back! 😊

From booking to check out Ainslie was easy to communicate with. The home was exactly as the pictures show. The home was equipped with everything we needed and more. The added touch of continental breakfast items is definitely an added bonus for guests that sets this listing apart from other listings. The location was easy on and off the highway in addition it was quiet and private which we appreciated. I was able to put in an order for fresh farm eggs and sausage that were produced from the animals on the farm which we enjoyed. Although the owners were on site in an adjoining apartment, It did not affect our privacy. We were traveling to lay my moms husbands ashed to rest at sea, this home was easy to navigate for my mom who is 80 and uses a walker. It allowed for easy access and provided a resting place for her during the grieving period. We would reserve again and recommend this listing for all the resons mentioned above.
