PLACE WAS SPOTLESS THROUGHOUT BARBARA & ANIMALS WERE FRIENDLY, LOCATION WOULD BE BEAUTIFUL IN NICE WEATHER WE HAD WIND & RAIN IDEAL FOR WALKERS

Stayed here for an Easter break weekend, was first time we have taken our dogs away with us and this was the perfect place to stay. Barbara was there to meet us and was very welcoming and helpful, a lovely lady. Was able to walk the dogs on nearby field and up onto the downs which was ideal for them. Would highly recommend.

We wanted somewhere peaceful with a sea view and Bay Cottage was absolutely perfect. Barbara came out to meet us on our arrival and was very friendly and helpful, telling us about local walks etc. She had stocked up the fridge with milk and pastries which was a very thoughtful touch. The weather was changeable so the view while doing the washing up was incredible and constantly changing. It was made even better by the horses and sheep peeking over the fences. We weren’t able to make use of the coast path walks due to the weather but we would love to return to do that another day.

We had a lovely stay at Barbara's chalet. It's nhvely away from any road traffic but well connected to coastal walks and a bus route ahould you opt for piblic transport. Close to Shanklin and still walkable to Ventnor if you have a bit more time. Nice to be next to fields with horses etc and an unspoilt sea view
