What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Hanne and Andy are great hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Check in was easy and flexible. Hanne gave us advice on some beautiful walks and places to eat, we just wished we were staying longer than 2 nights as we only managed one walk. The room has fabulous views, is immaculately clean with the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was informal and a chance to chat with Hanne and Andy and sample Andy's homemade bread which was delicious. It was lovely to stay somewhere that felt like home not just a bland hotel room. We enjoyed every minute of our time there and look forward to returning soon.

Hanne and Andy were fabulous hosts from the moment we booked. Extremely responsive on recommendations and information for check in. They went above and beyond to welcome us, making it more like a stay with friends than a b&b. Views over the valley were spectacular from the property We were lucky to do a beautiful walk recommended by Hanne from Grasmere via Kilnsey to Conistone in lovely spring sunshine. We would love to return one day

Wow, I absolutely loved my stay with Hanne and Andy. They went way above and beyond in making me feel welcome - and extremely well nourished! Was perfect retreat to work on some essays for a few days, with stunning views and lovely room. Very much hope to return to get out for more walks in beautiful area.

Perfect place for a long weekend get away as I done, amazing location with great views and 2 amazing hosts, Hanne was very welcoming ,helpful with finding hikes and also very knowledgeable on the surrounding area, I felt like I had lots of privacy in my room and I couldn’t of asked for a better weekend away, would highly recommend booking.
