We planned a ThanksMas here with my family. We could not have had a better place to celebrate. I love everything vintage/old - this was perfect. We did not have a lot of time to do more than just our together time, but the area offers a lot to do. Don and Kari were the perfect host/hostess. I would stay at their home again any time. Thank you Don and Kari for a perfect holiday!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Gehlen House! Our family stayed 2 nights and needed a place where we could have multiple rooms and a communal living room for visiting together. Everything in the home was very clean and we had plenty of room. Kari was very responsive and met us to help check in and show us the space. It was an easy drive to spend a little time in Dubuque as well. We are so grateful we found this location - thank you!

A fantastic stay. The host were around if we needed anything as they run the beer barn in the back. House is clean and well stocked for thier guest. I would totally recommend to a friend.

Great place for a family reunion. The house was just as expected easy checkin process. Nice barn behind the place for hanging out and talking.

We stayed at Kari and Don’s place for a weekend family getaway over Mother’s Day. The Inn was amazing. The charm was just what we were looking for. And to top it off the bar in the barn behind the house was just the fun we were looking for! Kari and Don were exceptional hosts! Super amazing people with a beautiful gem of a place!
