Enzo and his wife were the perfect hosts in every way. Matera is such a magical place and they made it even more special. Enzo was very caring & helpful and attended to our every need. The breakfasts were absolutely superb - amazing variety and quality. Thank you for sharing your unique home.

Location molto suggestiva, stanza pulita perfettamente ogni giorno, cambio biancheria quotidiano. Location ideale da un punto di vista logistico per visitare i Sassi di Matera. Breakfast eccellente.

A fabulous place and equally fabulous host. The B&B is beautiful, cleaners come in everyday. Enzo and his wife provide the most amazing of breakfasts - would suit a 5* rating if it was a hotel. We would highly recommend you stay here. The location is superb for staying in the centre of the old part of Matera.

Enzo and his wife were amazing hosts! Before arriving Enzo gave us great information on how to find parking and his place. Matera can be a bit of a maze, but we had no problems finding our room which is in a great location right in the heart of historic Matera. We stayed two nights in the “shell” room which had so much character and history. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was a highlight, with so many amazing dishes. We would absolutely recommend Al Convento and Matera is a must see!!

Si possono solo dare 5 stelle! Enzo, il padrone di casa ci ha accolto con professionalità ma facendoci sentire subito a casa. Ci ha dato ottimi consigli e organizzato una magnifica visita guidata dei sassi. La stanza è un’esperienza autentica di Matera, curata in ogni dettaglio e pulitissima. La colazione con prodotti sempre freschi e abbondante. È veramente un posto magico, consigliatissimo!
