We recently stayed at this beautiful house and overall had a pleasant experience. The house itself was stunning, with spacious rooms and modern amenities that made our stay comfortable. However, we encountered a slight hiccup in the beginning, which was promptly addressed by the host. Despite this initial setback, we appreciated their quick response and efforts to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Overall, we would recommend this property to others looking for a relaxing getaway.

Spacious house. Great space for our family trip. Quiet neighborhood. Host responsive and provided board games when asked. Some things to be mindful of: no dishwasher; driveway is long and narrow making getting in and out tricky; alarming popping noise when radiator kicks in one of the upstairs bedrooms (host said they would look into it, but since we were only there for 2 nights, not sure if this was addressed or not).

Historical style home in a once predominant neighborhood in Detroit. The home met our expectations and provided a wonderful memory for our family. The host was very responsive to any issues and worked with a sense of urgency to resolve those issues. Home is 22 mins from the airport and 10 mins from Downtown activities. I recommend the home.

House and accommodations are 5 stars. Host is 5 stars. Everything is as advertised. No complaints whatsoever. My one and only critic of this property is as follows: the house is located on a nice street. And there are a few nice streets adjacent to it. It is a historic district close to a university and golf course. All of that is fabulous. However, within a few minutes walk in any direction, it gets sketchy and unsafe - very fast. But that is just a product of being in Detroit. My only caution is for those from out of state or out of country, it may be a bit of a shock. We did feel a bit uncomfortable if coming back late at night. Other than that, the host and the house is great. Absolutely 5 stars.

I enjoyed staying at Bijou home. The location was very central for all we did. The home is on a lovely street and very quiet. I would stay here again if I ever returned to Detroit.
