We enjoyed our stay on Trout Lake - the house needs some love on the outside and a few updates are required inside as well, but overall still worth what we paid. Beautiful location and Bimpe was very responsive!

Positives: - Host responds quickly - The lake is beautiful to swim in and the sunsets are very nice. The view from the house is also very nice. - Dishwasher works well - Nice size fridge Negatives: - Not well maintained at all. We were there for a long period of time (5 weeks) and we had to spend the first 2.5 days cleaning everything including the baseboards, floors, kitchen, etc. It was very dusty and just clearly hadn’t had a spring clean in a long, long time. There were also cobwebs along the walls in the basement. - Bugs in the basement, smells very very musty in the basement. If you’re planning on having anyone sleep in the basement room, just know that it smells and there are bugs that appear basically everyday. We looked them up and we think they are called “spider crickets”. - Mouse poo throughout the house

Our family of 4 plus two small dogs had a great week with plenty of room and all the creature comforts at Bimpe’s place. The location was beautiful with a recently upgraded deck and huge new dock. The beds were quite comfortable and 2 showers were great. She had plenty of seating by the fire pit but we didn’t use the fire pit because of wind. It would have been great to have a bit more seating on the deck (it had 2 bistro type chairs and small table), and it would have been useful to have the BBQ up on the 2nd floor deck off the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and all appliances in good working order. It was a nice bonus to have a washer and dryer in the basement. We weren’t able to get the cable TV working but were busy with other things. Wifi was great. Cottage location is close to everything you might need. We would book again.
