Raquel’s and Miquel’s place is perfect. Really, there is nothing at all that could be improved. The location is great, a short 10 minute walk down to the river and another 15 minute stroll to the historic center. But note that it is a steep and winding road down to the river, and therefore a steep and winding road back up to the apartment. It wouldn’t be manageable for a person with mobility issues (most of Porto’s historic center is located on fairly steep terrain and likely problematic for the elderly or persons with mobility issues). Miquel (we didn’t meet Raquel) was outstanding. Our taxi driver took us to a wrong location (there are obviously two roads with the same name), and Miquel came to the rescue. He then introduced us to their apartment, and finally drove us to a close-by restaurant. He also is very responsive if a question was asked. As I said, the apartment is perfect. Washer, dishwasher, coffeemaker … even condiments, olive oil, etc. We’d return without hesitation

L’appartement est superbe : la déco est magnifique, très bien équipé, les lits sont ultra confortables, il est extrêmement propre et l’accueil est très chaleureux, clair et on nous donne plein d’astuces! Gaia est un bel endroit et on accède facilement à Porto! Le seul petit bémol est le bruit de la porte de l’immeuble juste à côté de l’appartement mais ce n’est vraiment qu’un détail par rapport au reste qui est 5 étoiles! Merci à Francisco pour son accueil! Nous recommandons l’endroit !
