Joyce was an incredible host. She prepared a lovely breakfast for us the first day and when we had to leave early in the morning the second day she brought us breakfast the night before to have in the morning. The castle is enormous and so quiet. It was a perfect stay and very peaceful.

Joyce was a wonderful host. Her beautiful castle is amazing, we really enjoyed our stay. We got there in a rainy afternoon and she had the fireplace on in the reception room, we had a lovely and cozy evening. We had the pleasure to enjoy her homemade breakfast which was delicious, my teenage kids loved her homemade jams. The views from the breakfast room were beautiful as well. We took the Connemara loop she recommended and stopped for food at this beautiful town called Clifden. Highly recommend Joyce’s Castlehacket house !

We really enjoyed our stay at Joyce's. She made us feel right at home when we arrived. The property was so peaceful and beautiful. We wish we could've stayed longer!

Peaceful area. Aidan shared a wealth of knowledge with such a pure joy each morning - make sure to get tips from him! Joyce created a decadent vegan breakfast for me that incorporated local favorites. Having the yoga room and library available to us was also a treat.
