I booked another stay after the first night, speaks volumes.... Anne & Chris were very friendly & welcoming. They clearly want their guests to be happy, from asking if everything was ok, to putting out the extra comfy garden sunlounger cushions as it was sunny when I stayed. The garden is beautiful & relaxing. The cottage is gorgeous, everything possible provided & lots of finer details, like fresh flowers, a basket with a supply of toiletries, hairdryer, iron, clock radio, motion sensor nightlight on the landing, Netflix on a curved TV. And the Wifi is great! The location is wonderful. At the top of a lovely cul-de-sac, hidden away for peace. Overlooking a flock of sheep and fields, with a raised terrace. A 50 metre walk to a really nice pub, where I indulged with a lunch and a breakfast, quality food, good price, excellent service. The village is pretty with easy access out. As a single female, I felt safe. I cannot fault it and really look forward to another visit. Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay. The little barn conversion did not feel so little inside - felt very spacious and lots of light. The courtyard garden was very pretty too. We hadn't visited this part of the UK for a while and had forgotten quite how beautiful the countryside is, as well as there being lots of lovely villages and towns to explore. Perfect mini break.
We had a lovely couple of days with our little girl (20 months). The place was lovely, calm and beautiful with a playpark around the corner, so basically everyone was happy. We will be back!
Fantastic remote location with beautiful peaceful views and surroundings. Hosts were very friendly but also gave us privacy. Amazing house, clean and cosy. They provided basically everything, from toiletries, games, books, DVDs, some food items like oils and milk. Lovely touch! Just mind your head as some doorways are a little low :P
Anne has created a beautiful place, a true home away from home with lots of thoughtful touches. Already planning to stay when I'm back in the area.
