Hi I'm Ben, a born and bred Capetonian, I've lived in Dubai for 16 years and still love the hustle and bustle of this vibrant metropolis in the middle east, but always have that undying craving for being at home, lighting a braai and enjoying the splendour of what our country has to offer in the form of Red or White and our beautiful view. I'm a flight attendant and love the creature comforts of home as opposed to sterile hotel rooms when travelling. When we're out and about in South Africa, we love being tourists in our own country and similarly when we're travelling abroad we're your typical tourist. We love places of historical significance, adventure and nature - nothing beats day trips to places like Tsitsikamma National Park or walking with the Elephants in Knysna. I met my Danish partner in Dubai and we had a beautiful wedding in the historical winelands district of Paarl, South Africa - The town where Nelson Mandela took his first steps to freedom and the Taal Monument that commemorates the recognition of Afrikaans as a language. My mother has retired to Mossel Bay and this is, along with the rest of the family, where we call home now. The Family house is a street up from our holiday apartment where we strive to host you the way we like to be hosted. When staying at our holiday apartment in Mossel Bay you'll be taken care of by my sister, Leandra, who's the mother of two kids who we love immensely.
