great place and location
Beautiful old cottage in a small village, close to the fells and lakes. The cottage is warm and cosy and has all the amenities you could need. The owner is close by if you have any queries and is really helpful. We hope to be able to visit again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sues cottage. It was in a great location for us as we wanted to hike both Blencathra & Skiddaw, both were less than a 30 minute drive away. Sadly due to a family crisis we only got to stay 2 nights but we would love to return some day. Thanks for your hospitality Sue
We really enjoyed the stay. The house was well equipped with many games so children were not bored when at home. The location was great as well. The house was spacious and comfortable.
Sue’s Cottage was simply amazing and we had a great time. Artfully decorated with old old charm and modern facilities. We really felt at home. The rooms are spacious and the dining and living rooms were perfect. Sue is a 5 star host with excellent communication and always happy to help and guide with local recommendations.

I am married and live in a house behind the Corner Cottage incase of emergencies. We have owned the cottage for about 20 years and have had self-catering guests for all of that time but have only recently joined with Airbnb. Most of our guests come year after year and have become friends as well.
