We had the most amazing stay here! Our first and foremost reason for coming was to be somewhere very peaceful for newyears as my dog is scared of fireworks and that’s always insane in the Netherlands. The house was so amazingly quiet and peaceful! It’s huge and very clean! There are TVs in all the rooms with Netflix access. As we mostly just needed to rest it was so perfect. The kitchen is very big and clean and the bathroom is so nice with a bath tub. The surroundings are beautiful, we drove to valjoly almost every morning for a walk at the lake and a drink at a cafe there. We also went to maubeuge and Valenciennes. It was nice to shop for a little bit and it was quiet there as well. I needed the pharmacy once and in saint nord was a little pharmacy and the man who worked there was so kind and helped me so well. There are so many different supermarkets everywhere. And last but not least, Thierry and Cecile kindly welcomed us and showed us everything. They were also very quick with responding to any questions. We will definitely be back here because we would love to be able to use the pool next time!

Très agréable maison, très bien équipée et un couple de propriétaires charmants. Nous nous sommes retrouvés entre frères et sœurs, à 6, dont deux couples. La maison est spacieuse et confortable ce qui nous a permis d’y vivre 5 jours en harmonie. Se retrouver autour de la table pour dîner et devant la cheminée en soirée fut un véritable bonheur. La maison a tout l’équipement souhaité, un grand jardin, une piscine et le parking juste en face de l’entrée. Formidable !

Had a lovely time. Where a lot of flies and mosquito's but given the time of year it made sense. Thierry was a great host and made it a even better time with the upkeep of the swimming pool
