Our cottage is in walking distance to Healesville town center, about 11 mins to Coles super market, or 2 mins drive. Our kitchen is fully equipped with a fully stocked pantry. No conventional oven but with microwave oven. In 10 mins you can walk to MLK cafe&bar, our favourite cafe, or Healesville Hotel for a pub meal, or get some gourmet supplies from Kitchen & Butcher (K&B). 11 mins walk to Saturday Organic farmers market, 12 mins to Maltilda Bay Brewery and Innocent Bystander cellar door and restaurant, 8 mins to Four Pillars Gin Distillery.
Within 15 mins drive you can get to many wineries such as Rochford, Domain Chandon, Laventine Hill, Tarrawarra, Boat O’Craigo, Yering Station, the list goes on and on!
Only 5 mins drive to the Healesville Sanctuary, 9 mins to Maroondah Dam reservoir park, 13 mins to Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, and 15 mins to get to the start of Black Spur scenic drive, the list goes on and on.
While you can get a good taste of the Yarra Valley with a 2 nights/3 days itinerary, we are certain you will also happily enjoy a week long stay here for some more in-depth exploration of the area!

You can park your car by the cottage free of charge.
There is bus 684 service to Lilydale where you can catch the Lilydale train line to the city, however we think the best way to explore Yarra Valley is to have a self-guided driving tour. If you would like to do some wine tasting and are driving, please make sure you drink responsibly, and always have a designated driver. Or you can join a local wine tasting tour instead!
