My goal was to find a retreat from a busy work week. What I found was a beautiful happy place. Novel prepared for me a light healthy breakfast on the outdoor patio. I enjoyed watching the birds visit while I ate. The weekend was perfect in weather, breathtaking views of the treelines, and the peace that I was looking for. From the moment I spoke with Novel, I was excited to visit her rustic cabin home and explore a hiking trail or two. Such a lovely experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy space! Each bedroom has its own theme - it was so much fun for each of our party to choose the rooms! And more importantly, Novel and her associate gave us the most warm welcome and were responsive throughout our stay. Their most important house rule is to reach out to them anytime if we needed something - and they meant it. We certainly want to come back another time!

Novel, her sister Kitty and the rest of their family which is Novel's Husband and son were absolutely wonderful, kind and respectful to me and my friends the whole time we were staying at their house with them. We stayed in the part of the house listed as unit two and it was perfect for me and my friends, we all felt like each room we ended up choosing for ourselves were made for each of us specifically. I never felt like I or my friends were intruding or that we were stepping on each other's toes or that our privacy was being invaded, rather we all felt completely at home as if it were our own house. The rules of conduct and respect for their house were commonplace, simple and not overly strict. It was very easy to enjoy ourselves and just be in the moment without worrying about anything else and that came from how well they treated us while we were staying there. We spent the majority of our time on the slopes down the street at the Mt High resort which made this place a godsend!
