Smoke Hole Caverns is a beautiful place. We booked the honeymoon sweet cabin for a small much needed get a way for my husband and I. The email stated check in was at 6pm, I messaged to let the host know we would be in a little after 8pm. No reply. Once arrived, it takes you to the main office that is 3 miles or so from the cabin. Once at the cabins, there was no one to help check in, no reply from the host. A older couple told us that sometimes they will leave a note on the door for your check in instructions. No note, no reply, we had no choice but to reach out to airbnb for help. Airbnb wasn’t even able to reach the host. By this time it’s after 11pm we are tired and hours away from home or even a close hotel. Days later I did receive a email saying sorry but that was all. If they don’t want to fix the horrible experience us, I hope they learn from it and never do anyone else like that again. -The Knuckles
