The house was very spacious for our group of 7 adults plus a dog. Plenty of bathrooms with lots of hot water always available. The pool table was great. Large tv with netflix available. The area was lovely and very peaceful with good shops and excellent coffee shops nearby. The downside were the following Internet not working on arrival and available until next day. Communication at times was very poor Kitchen; Inadequate tea towels no oven gloves.Not enough serving bowls. Swimming pool;dirty green colour on arrival with debri in the bottom, when we contacted Ruby she gave us instructions on cleaning it which failed to remove the debri pool was unusable. Fireplaces, plenty of wood but no kindling or matches and no tools such as for the fireplace. The outside washing line was unusable. Several light bulbs not working. Bedding inadequate not enough spare blankets for everyone as it became cold. Communication was poor. Super property but needs better attention to detail.

Rubys place was situated in a beautiful area, with the river and walkway directly behind the house, a great coffee cart, cafe and local town amenties a short walk away. The homes interior design was gorgeous and our whanau of 6 enjoyed the multiple living areas! The highlight was the pool table, and the outdoor pool & spa, so very relaxing and much fun had! The beds & pillows were so comfortable and the fact we could take our 2 dogs on holiday, was an extra bonus for us! Ruby was so amazing at communicating with me ref the stay and even left us a dog bed, dog bowls and a nice welcome basket on our arrival, thanks Ruby! We didnt run out of hot water, or get mosquitoes, as previous reviews mentioned, therefore my multiple cans of insect repellant werent required. The only let down for our stay was the cleanliness of the home, which I advised Ruby of and will hopefully be rectified before the next stay.

Absolutely loved our holiday at Ruby’s place , beautiful home , so much space for our family of 7 , loved the pool & spa … , the pool table & lots of books to read in the sunken lounge was the perfect spot to relax Location was fantastic , white water rafting 5 mins away was a definate highlight for us & we all can’t wait to do it again in the future , Tūrangi is a great town with Taupō so close by , we also visited Rotorua & loved our day at Skyline 😁 Will definately be booking again Thankyou so much Ruby & Tyler & thanks again for the welcome hamper xx

Great place in a great location for the Tongariro crossing and various activities (such as white water rafting). House had everything that we needed, including a very welcome pool and plenty of space. Ruby was also very responsive to any queries and the whole process was very easy.
