The AirBnB is in a favorable location, but the stay was not particularly enjoyable. The first day I arrived, the key code was not working on the front door and I was missing several things in my bedroom: clothing storage, tables, and curtains. From the several day to week minimum wait time for a response, to occasional hygienic issues such as excessive bugs and a mushroom sprouting in the bathroom, it was difficult to deal with living at the AirBnB. Above all, unlike the other rooms, I had no internal cooling or heating unit which is not particularly fair when the other rooms had similar costs. What Emily noted in the reviews agrees with what my experience was at the AirBnB. Unfortunately, I was too busy with my internship to find a opportunity to move in the middle of it without taking time off. It should be noted too that laundry (washing and drying) costs $4 a load which I only found out by messaging.

The house was a comfortable place. It is right down the street from campus and since I do not have a car this was a great option. I will say that if you’re on a budget then this might not be the best option. The town of Wellesley is a beautiful place but it is not cheap and to find cheaper restaurants or stores you will need to go out of town. Also, if you do not do well with ants, moths and spiders this might not be the best place. While there are spiders in the lower rooms on the main floor the kitchen is infested with ants and moths. There is also no working oven so cooking is limited. I personally bought my own toaster oven to have something to cook with. There is a cleaning but she is not reliable. There are temperature controls in the house that do not work properly. Due to this the heat and ac are not the best. You will need to buy your own heater and fan to stay warm/cool. Overall the house is in a great spot its a quiet neighborhood and safe. The host is overall nice.

Host: very quick response, kind, considerate, easy to communicate. A very good location, especially to Dana Hall School and Wellesley College, also close to Whole Food Supermarket & Mobil Gas Station. Very quiet and spacious place, also the bed is comfortable for good sleep. Hope to have chance to stay at the house again for my next trip!
