We had a lovely stay although weren’t able to utilise the outside space to its full potential thanks to the awful weather. Will definitely book again in the future, it’s a lovely area to explore the local beaches and a town is brilliantly equipped for everything you might need. Perry was helpful, friendly and responsive. Looking forward to our next visit

Barns Cottage is very lovely, and felt very private. The twins described the garden as “outside paradise” and it was perfect for Easter egg hunts. We loved the hot tub, especially on the first night with a clear sky watching the ISS overhead. I would say that the garage is somewhat snug. I have a Fiesta which isn’t a big car and it was a tight fit with the bins at the back, worth being aware if you have a larger vehicle. Secondly, there isn’t an indoor dining table which as a group we found difficult as the children are used to having to eat at the table not on the sofa (sadly the Easter weather precluded alfresco dining). I know families are all different but we missed being able to sit at the table, especially as we like to cook & tend to eat in. That said, we loved Squires fish & chips, and Cawthornes Food Market as well the Saturday market in town. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Perry's place was exactly as described and Perry was nothing but helpful throughout our stay and very responsive when we had questions. the only thing worth noting is the parking element, yes you can park in the garage but it isn't very big and the courtyard is very tight. I personally have a mid size car and I couldn't get the garage door shut but this did not affect anything else to do with my weekend away. all in all a great place to visit, great location and a great host would return in the future if visiting the South Coast.

It was an amazing weekend at Barns Cottage. We stayed Friday to Monday with another family (8 altogether) for a 40 birthday weekend and had a great time. The place is amazing, and the photos do not do it justice. Our 4 kids had an amazing time. Perry was on the ball with messages, offering local advice with things to do, etc. He even offered us early check-in and late checkout, which was very useful. We will be visiting again 👍
