My family spent 2 nights here. We have 2 large dogs and 2 young kids (2 yr old and 3 month old). Our goal was a “glamping” experience and our visit was exactly that! Absolutely beautiful land with horses and a walkable (albeit short) trail to the woods. The areas that mattered most felt very clean (bathroom, kitchen, beds). The house is quite old and blemished but has lots of charm. Every room has tall windows and each one has a beautiful view. We loved the outdoor fire pit and tire swings. My 2 yr old had soooo much fun with the wooden train track toys and the kids books too.

We made contact late in the day when a previous plan fell through. Very responsive, great helpful tips with directions. This is a big old farm house, which is what we have at home so we felt comfortable there. We are a mature couple traveling with 2 beagle dogs. We didn't even go upstairs as there was plenty of room in the lower level for us. This house is surrounded by farm land, we enjoyed walking in the field watching the horses. This is not the place for you if you want everything pristine and updated . If you want to be comfortable and need some space to relax this was perfect. Owners were very responsive and easy to work with.

If you're looking for a quiet and private farm-style getaway near Hocking Hills, this is the place. We enjoyed the horses, trail walk, and relaxing atmosphere.

The place was a peaceful quiet retreat and we loved visiting the horses and ponies. Everything was just as described and the kitchen had everything we needed for a wonderful Easter weekend.

My family had a great time visiting Hocking Hills and the surrounding area. Brenda's place was a great value, it's situated in the hart many of the places we wanted to visit. The farm house was as described and served us well. I would like to see different lights in the downstairs bedroom, and the grill needs to be replaced. There was some dog hair on the one couch and the shower could have used a better cleaning, nothing to serious. Other than that the grounds were very quiet, it was great to sit out on the back porch and have my coffee in the morning just listening to the wildlife and of course the horses. I've already recommended the house to friends and family.
