This cabin was by far the coolest place we have ever stayed. The view from the back porch is seriously the most incredible view we have ever seen. The rusticness of the cabin was so perfect for our group of 6 hunting buddies. Only about 10 minutes from a few restaurants, this cabin worked out great for us. It had all the amenities needed for us to cook breakfast and dinner each day. It was really cool sitting on the porch together discussing our hunting memories around the bonfire. This was definitely the coolest Airbnb we have ever booked. Alexis was so friendly and responsive whenever we had any questions. If you’re thinking about booking this place you really need to do it. You won’t find another view like the one at this place!

We stayed at Big Horn Hideaway while we were in Wyoming for our son’s wedding. We live in Kansas so it was a 13 hour drive and we planned to bake and decorate the cupcakes for the reception and Alexis the host was extremely responsive and friendly in communicating with us before the trip to help us know what kitchen accessories were there and what we needed to bring with us. She saved us so much time and space and stress by making sure we had everything we needed there so we did not have to lug a whole bunch of kitchen tools from home. While we were there, whenever I had a question about anything she was very quick to respond to my messages. The home was beautiful and clean and comfortable and the view is breathtaking! I highly recommend!

Not one closed mouth upon arrival. Plenty of parking & property space to comfortably entertain. Decor & furnishings are practical, educational of the property history, and entertainingly quirky. While being rained out limited patio activities, there was an otherworldly & ethereal vibe to being shrouded in fog & rain; ultimately weather cleared up in time to enjoy an evening of the glorious view, fire pit & grill, and an easy hike with starting point right across the cabin. With feeders everywhere, we were mesmerised by hummingbirds flitting about right by the windows. Alexis & Eric are proactive & upfront about conservation requirements, which came off more intimidating than really turned out to be in practice. They did fail to warn us about how much we would become obsessed with Bo the cat—please consider yourselves warned that the temptation to kidnap will be strong. Truly one-of-a-kind experience. Thankful for generosity to accommodate our larger group with reasonable surcharge.

Our family absolutely loved this property in spite of the minor necessary inconveniences. We could easily live like this for weeks or even months (personally, I could live like this indefinitely). This property is not for "high maintenance" types, "city slickers" or those who require "4 or 5 star" resorts. I wouldn't hesitate one second regarding a return visit.

Very nice place to stay. Enjoyed all the furnishing and children’s toys and adult games. Very good for place for family. Great deck and breathtaking views. Great place to stay. Fantastic host.
