Have your amazing taste of paradise in Loreto80 – MEZQUITE, it’s a beautiful eclectic designed studio unit in the heart of Loreto. It’s located on the main street of downtown (small street), next to our Mission of Loreto and only 3 blocks from the beach. NOTE: Restaurant Zapata is a neighbor so there will be noise. Live music played Thursday-Saturday til 10 pm. Loreto 80 property used to be an old colonial house, which has been restored and adapted in small units, but without losing the essence of historic architecture from downtown. Each of the 6 studios are located in the same area. The street has no vehicle access. My mom and I are passionate about design and considered every detail to make your stay a dream. With first of its kind contemporary Mexican style in Loreto, Loreto80 Studios is laid out like a theme property, according to Baja’s flora. We created interiors that are warm and inviting with features that are local or have been recycled and restored, including art. El Mezquite has a queen bed and a spacious eclectic kitchen to cook lovely meals and eat them at the dining table. The kitchen has the all the necessary equipment to prepare a complete meal. The bathroom is divided, the shower has its own private room just like the toilet room. The studio has a fun contemporary decoration. When needed to breath some fresh air, you can sit outside under the pergola. Once you enter the studio you would be able call it home. Less than 5 minutes from the plaza, grocery stores, coffee shops, boardwalk, restaurants, you name it. Craft shops “artesanias” crossing the street and 7-minute walk to beach. We have the best location!! Check out other 9 units are: 1) Rosa del Desierto 2) Nopal 3) Palma 4) Cactus 5) Agave 6) Palo Blanco 7) Pitaya 8) Cirio 9) Sabila
Very inexpensive well equipped Airbnb, right in the middle of the tourist part of Loreto. Lots to do everything in very easy walking distance. We aren’t much for nightlife and prefer to go on all day adventures instead so the music late into the evening made for later nights than we’re used to but ultimately it was a great spot and we had a great time.
I really enjoyed my stay at Loreto80 in the heart of the Loreto’s historic centre. I stayed a month (October) and found my little apartment both convenient and comfortable. Having a kitchen was perfect with one of Loreto’s main groceries stores minutes away. The lovely mission church is down the block, the lively civic square is just beyond. There were a number of interesting celebrations in both plazas while I was there. I walked along the Malecon almost every morning watching the seabirds and the pangas leaving the marina. I found Loreto to be clean, safe, and quite delightful…a true “pueblo magico”. At the apartment, questions were answered promptly and the weekly cleaning job was excellent. The weather was hot in October, and I was glad for the efficient AC. Zapata’s Bar and Restaurant where I ate shrimp tacos and drank margarita’s is right next door and can be noisy (I found it entertaining) but they close:by 10:00/10:30 so sleeping was never an issue.
Loreto is known because of the nature. Outdoor activities are the thing, it includes sea kayaking, diving, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, paddle board, etc. Our islands are iconic, they are perfect for snorkeling, diving or just touring around to do whale watching or swim with the dolphins and sea lions. There’s something for everyone in this magical village!
Loreto is a small town and our studios are located in the historic center. The cobbled streets give you that welcoming atmosphere along with the "saludos" of the locals.
Get your morning walk to the beach, down the main street, and admire the beautiful sunrise.
On your way back have your breakfast at one of the many restaurants. Need to try the machaca or bean burritos!
Please beware that Mexico is a noicy place. This might not be the best place for you if you are picky with noices such as dogs, birds, people talking, church bells, music, etc.
Our neighborhood is unique as everything you need is within walking distance or if you prefer doing bicycle rides.

My name is Solvin (daughter of Lucia-best mom ever) and I'm 38. I was born in California but my parents decided to move to Loreto when I was a teenager, ever since then Loreto has been my second home no matter what part of the world I am living in. We are nature lovers that enjoy outdoor activities and reading a good book at the beach. My mother being permanent in Loreto, is in charge of hosting our cozy, creative and comforting studios.
